VIRGINIA- Stephanie N. Morales is a progressive prosecutor known for making history as one of the few people, let alone black women to prosecute an officer for killing an unarmed black person. Her passion as an attorney has led her to embark on a new journey as an author to inspire youth to become lawyers themselves. She is driven by the belief that transformation in America’s criminal justice system begins with shifting the narrative through more representation of marginalized groups in positions of power.
The Vision Walkers are a one of a kind 501(c)4 grassroots political action organization that seeks to strategically and tactically engage the black electorate at the intersection of government. Their mission is to bridge the gap between elected officials and voters through community outreach events, informational online forums and voter registration drives. This platform features a state of the art mobile app and website created by longtime activist, Aspiration:Unlimited LLC CEO/Founder Jeremiah Isaiah, who was inspired to develop the platform while being wrongfully arrested as a member of the #GoodTrouble65. Other pivotal co-founders include Rev. Stephen Green who most recently lead actions in Lousivlle, KY around the police murder of EMT, Breonna Taylor and Attorney Stephanie Morales, who is one of few people in history to prosecute an officer for the killing of an unarmed black person.
