In the midst of global protests and unrest Black Leaders from across the globe have banded together to create Black Culture Weekly This initiative will have several areas of focus:
Jeremiah Isaiah is an Award-Winning Activist, Artist and Scholar. He is a member of the #GoodTrouble65, wrongfully incarcerated for protesting the murder of EMT Breonna Taylor. Jeremiah most recently founded Black Culture Weekly as a means of revolutionizing media through action and support of black businesses, art and innovation.
He currently serves as the National Social Impact Director for Tom Steyer PAC and is the point staffer supporting Reparations for descendents of enslaved Africans through H.R 40. He recently served on Steyer’s 2020 Presidential Campaign where he led efforts to become the 1st Presidential Campaign in U.S History to make reparations for African Americans a cornerstone of a presidential platform.This work included pioneering the “Reparations Are Past Due” sub-campaign through first-of-it’s-kind digital ads, literature and merchandise.
He also made history as co-architect of the $125B HBCU policy plan, the most ambitious to ever be released by a candidate of any party. His duties also included helping craft policy plans for criminal justice transformation, education, ending gun violence and improving the quality of black lives.
