Our Work

In the midst of global protests and unrest Black Leaders from across the globe have banded together to create Black Culture Weekly This initiative will have several areas of focus:


  • Training young black journalists and inspiring black college students to become more active in shaping the narratives of their community through the “Young Black Storytellers Project”


  • Highlighting and training Black political candidates that will positively impact the Black Community 


  • Increasing Black representation in the workforce by providing access to job opportunities in politics, media, tech and education


  • Generating revenue for black businesses through mobile app development, promotion across social, email and featured stories


  • Provide toolkits and action guides for black organizers and activists to better engage their community


  • Raising funds for black-owned/led organizations through apparel sales & marketing

About Us

Jeremiah Chapman

Our Founder - Jeremiah Isaiah MBA

Jeremiah Isaiah is an Award-Winning Activist, Artist and Scholar. He is a member of the #GoodTrouble65, wrongfully incarcerated for protesting the murder of EMT Breonna Taylor. Jeremiah most recently founded Black Culture Weekly as a means of revolutionizing media through action and support of black businesses, art and innovation. 


He currently serves as the National Social Impact Director for Tom Steyer PAC and is the point staffer supporting Reparations for descendents of enslaved Africans through H.R 40. He recently served on Steyer’s 2020 Presidential Campaign where he led efforts to become the 1st Presidential Campaign in U.S History to make reparations for African Americans a cornerstone of a presidential platform.This work included pioneering the “Reparations Are Past Due” sub-campaign through first-of-it’s-kind digital ads, literature and merchandise.


 He also made history as co-architect of the $125B HBCU policy plan, the most ambitious to ever be released by a candidate of any party. His duties also included helping craft policy plans for criminal justice transformation, education, ending gun violence and improving the quality of black lives.


Timeline of Leadership


  • In 2014 he helped make history by leading the campaign to elect the 100th Women into Congress and 2nd Black Congresswoman in NC, Rep. Alma Adams. 


  • As a Federal Liaison in The U.S House of Representatives he was instrumental in the historic creation of the Bipartisan HBCU Caucus


  • The loss of his friend Tywanza Sanders in the 2015 Emanuel AME Church Shooting led to a renewed dedication to activism & race relations.


  • He helped make history again as Rep. Adams Field Director in 2016 after NC lawmakers made an unprecedented move to redraw Congressional District lines in the middle of an election year.


  • As Vice Chair of the Charlotte NAACP and Director of Engagement at HBCU Pride Nation, he led protests in the midst of the trial/police shootings of Keith Lamont Scott and Jonathan Ferrell-- issuing specific demands to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and city government. 


  • He co-created the Charlotte Solidarity movement with Bree Newsome, bringing together faith leaders, activists and organizations together to fight back against police brutality -- which subsequently lead to his nomination as the Top 14 Leaders of The New Civil Rights Movement


  • In 2016, he served as the NC Get Out The Vote Director for For Our Future, partnering with Dolores Huerta to keep Donald Trump out of office while mobilizing communities of color across the state.


  • Later that year he became the first ever Communications Fellow at the Center for Community Change and shot/produced “Tundra”, a video mini-series.


  • In 2017, Jeremiah played pivotal roles on the ground in historic progressive victories in Virginia & Alabama via NexGen America and Woke Vote. 
  • During his time at NextGen America as National Training Director he would go on to lead/cultivate 1000+ Young Activists Nationwide on tactics to dismantle systemic oppression through a 30+ Million Dollar Program entitled NextGen Rising.


  • The program was focused on 426 college campuses and flipped 33 out of 38 Republican held Congressional Districts targeted.


  • Later that year, Jeremiah created #BeTheBlessing, an effort to reach back to black children in Charlotte, NC and offer insight on life skills, civic engagement and career exploration.


  • In 2018, he partnered with Blavity, Color of Change, NAFEO, Woke Vote and Black Futures Lab to create the #BlackLivesRising Program, which featured over 80 black youth organizers in 6 states and 13 cities to increase voter participation. The program's $1M dollar efforts assisted with the election of WI Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, MI Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, Rep. Rashid Tlaib, NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls & many more. 


  • In 2019, Jeremiah spearheaded the Need to Impeach Campaign and hosted trainings, marches, and congressional member visits to build a grassroots movement of over 10 million Americans to impeach Donald J. Trump.


  • That same year, Jeremiah founded Aspiration:Unlimited LLC under his stage moniker “Profeta X”, and released his first album “MXRTYR$”


  • His LLC also houses apparel and sub brands such as Black Culture Weekly. 


  • In late 2019, Jeremiah won Gold for a 1st place finish in Coast 2 Coast Live’s Artist Showcase in San Diego, CA
